Their latest initiative provides a platform where users can integrate social networking and media sharing and conduct business meetings online via conference calling, video conferencing and chatting over the Internet. They connect over 30,000 clients worldwide and their clientele is an impressive lineup of 75% of the FortuneTM 100.

The Need

To Create a Web based user interface wherein one can access all the data under one Interface and compare among different metrics and sources. The biggest challenge was that earlier the granularity of the data could not be altered. The data was shown in an Excel format for a fixed date range and could compare only few metrics, thus not allowing the client for a detailed study of the site. The data sources for it included integration of both offline and online data like Ad serving services, web analytics tool etc.

The Solution

Nabler's expertise in creating high quality dashboards enabled the development and maintenance of an interface that was simple, precise, interactive and helped view multiple data in one single frame. The technology was based on ASP .NET 4.0 using SQL 2008.

Salient features of the new interface:

  • Introduction of the 'Top Nav bar', simplified the functionality of the dashboard to suit the need of the client. The user can easily navigate through various scenarios and then query out the data.
  • 'CHECK BOXES' enable viewing desired metrics across field values and date ranges.
  • The tool has an option either to view the Graph alone or to view both the graph and its data, via a simple click of the 'DETAILED TABLE' button.
  • COMMENTS can only be added or edited by admin log-ins for any metric across date ranges. Standard user log-ins can only view these comments.
