Once the email is sent, the performance of the campaign should be monitored very closely. Some of the measures that must be monitored are:
  • Percentage of recipients who opened the newsletter
  • Links clicked
  • Number of times the newsletter was forwarded
  • Number of people who unsubscribed / subscribed after each campaign

All these must be monitored and reported, since this will help you to determine the success of your email newsletter marketing campaign.
