A study conducted by Stanford University Persuasive Lab showed that nearly half of the participants assessed the credibility of the website based on the ‘design look’. This included elements like layout, typography, font size and color schemes.

So it is important how the website looks. It should be kept in mind that using a lot of pictures, flash, animation, etc need not necessarily add to the user experience. They might even turn off the user.

As part of visual design, we design the layout, theme and the color scheme for your website. We would use your existing logo, corporate colors, etc to come up with our design.

Once you are happy with the design template, you can go ahead and build all the pages. One very important thing to keep in mind is, as far as possible attempt at making the code behind the web page clean and elegant. Clean code ensures that the site loads fast, that search engines can index content in an easier fashion. In the long run, it helps to maintain a site that is coded well.
