At Nabler, we believe that client confidentiality and data security is not something to be enforced but to be imbibed as a way of life. Our employees are expected to do everything within their control to ensure the highest level of security and confidentiality of customer information.
The data security and client confidentiality briefing is a key component of the new employee orientation program at Nabler. During the orientation, the new recruits are given inputs on effectively securing their systems and preventing the leakage of any client data. As the first step, each employee is required to set a login password that is difficult to crack.
Our systems are configured to ensure that employees’ passwords are changed at regular intervals. The system enforces logical rules that ensure the new passwords contain an optimal mix of regular and special characters, and that passwords are not repeated in a span of two months. All employees are to lock their computers while they are not at their seat.
At Nabler, we have a clear policy that defines the circumstances under which data can be brought in or taken out of the facility using portable data storage devices such as pen drives and compact discs. We also have policies that govern the issue and use of company laptops by our associates. The policy outlines how an employee can securely connect to Nabler’s network while they are on the move.
Nabler’s facilities are guarded by security personnel round-the-clock. They monitor and control the movement of employees and materials to and from the facility. All employees are given an identity card that has to be displayed whenever they are within our premises. They are also given smart cards that are programmed to ensure that users can only access those parts of the facility where their physical presence is required.
Access to the Network Operations Center and Datacenter is controlled by an additional digital access system that requires a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to be entered and validated. All access control systems are monitored in real-time to ensure full compliance.
To ensure the integrity and availability of client data, we have implemented a system that is governed by a set of data access policies. The management of Nabler makes sure that these policies are distributed and understood by all. While data processing is typically handled on desktops, the policy requires all client data to be stored in predefined folders on a server. Each project is allocated a separate space of the server. Data pertaining to certain projects are stored on dedicated servers as per the client’s requirements. Only senior employees are granted privileges to modify data on the servers.
Nabler’s dedicated IT support team ensures that all data is backed up on a regular basis. We have invested in an Uninterrupted Power Supply and power generators to ensure that the facility does not face a power outage. While this team keeps our systems and servers up and running, they also ensure that the data security policies of the organization are enforced. They also make sure that the network firewalls and antivirus software are fully functional.
All our business transactions are covered by Non Disclosure Agreements (NDA) which protects the interests of our clients. Further, all employees are required to sign an NDA with Nabler that lays down stringent conditions about the access and disclosure of client data. All employees are bound to honor the NDA during the period of employment and two years thereafter.
At Nabler, we take client confidentiality and data security seriously. This is just one of the reasons why we are the preferred vendor for some of the world’s leading brands and organizations.
