At Nabler, before we start generating reports, we consult our customers and ask them about the specific stakeholders or managers who would be looking at the web analytics report. We would then ask the stakeholders about the Key Performance Indicators that they wish to know. After finding out these requirements we will generate the reports.
In the reporting and analysis process, the Nabler team will first decide on the number and type of web analytics reports. The next step would be designing the reports. If our customers are not interested in full-scale reports, we can also create simple dashboards which will include only significant information.
The difference between dashboards and reports lies in certain factors. While web analytics reports are detailed and exhaustive, dashboards are simple and contain summarized information. Reports also contain detailed analyses about the different sections in the website. Specific information for the different stakeholders of the company is also included in the web analytics reports.
We will collect data by using the web analytics software that you are using. We can also suggest suitable software which will meet your analytical requirements. Apart from this, we can also configure the web analytics software for you. This will enable you to get precise and significant information.
The next stage is data auditing, where the collected data would be audited to check for common errors and irrelevant visits. The data would also be audited for any other errors which can have an effect on the accuracy level of the report. Even after this stage has been completed, checking the accuracy of the data will be performed at regular intervals and would be carried out in an orderly manner.
At Nabler, we can generate Ad Hoc Reports, based on the specific requirements given by a particular customer. For example, you are an important stakeholder in your organization. At some point, you meet a viable customer from a famous company. After your meeting, you would be interested to know if this particular customer came to your website, what did he/ she check and read on the website and what were his/her areas of interest on the website.
This is an example of an Ad Hoc report. We can also provide reports for your other requirements, such as, how some new banners on your homepage or website performed, how a campaign that you started is sending traffic or how a new section added on your site is performing.
Without analysis it would be useless to generate reports. In this stage, the Nabler team will analyze the data in the report and will given a final analysis of the statistics. The analysis usually describes the “WHY” aspect of these statistics.
For example, why has there been no traffic for a particular page? Why is a particular banner not effective? Why have there been fewer visitors to a particular section? This analysis is very important, as it enables the customer to take informed decisions on what has to be done to the website to make it more effective. This has been termed as “Optimizing the Website”.
